Are you satisfied with your current boss? Explain.

I am fairly satisfied with my current boss. In my experience, my boss has a positive attitude and doesn't work within a strict hierarchy. Additionally, he is good at communicating and will do his own tasks. However, there are challenging aspects to his behaviour. Most significantly, he enjoys gossip and spreading rumours. This worried me when I joined the team because I don't want to be associated with these rumours. Therefore, he is not a perfect manager but also he is not a terrible manager.

 

Have you ever had a boss that you were grateful for? Explain.

One of the best leaders that I have ever worked with was an IT team leader. Despite my role being in the operation team, he was a very helpful leader. At the time, I was in charge of planning a new website for foreign independent travelers.
I had previously never worked with IT engineers. This manager motivated colleagues to work hard by providing opportunities for learning and growing. Additionally, he was very kind and gave helpful feedback to co-workers.

Do you have other ideas for coping with Murphy’s Law?

In order to cope with Murphy's Law I try not to constantly compare my life to others. In particular I set time-bound goals with specific targets in my working life. Learning from experiences and mistakes is most important to me. If I am not aware of others' status I do not believe that Murphy's Law happens to me.
